These terms cover using the ExamQ app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

The app licence

Your licence to use the app is Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. That agreement, not this page, sets the legal terms of your licence to install and run the app.

Purchases, refunds and restoring

Every pack in the app is a one-off purchase made through Apple, not a subscription. Apple handles the payment, the receipt and any refund: ExamQ does not take payment directly and cannot issue a refund itself. To ask Apple for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. If you bought a pack on another device signed in with the same Apple Account, Settings in the app has a "Restore purchases" button that brings it back on this one.

What a pack is

Each pack is written in ExamQ's own words from an exam's public syllabus or outline. ExamQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by any exam provider or awarding body named in the app, and passing an exam is never guaranteed. Card content can contain errors: if you spot one, use the report button shown during a study session to tell us, and we will look into it. Not every pack has finished going through our own checking process yet; a pack's card count and what it covers are shown on its own page in the app before you buy.

Acceptable use

Use the app for your own study. Do not try to extract, scrape or resell the cards, reverse engineer the app, or use it in a way that disrupts it for other learners.

Your account and deleting your data

Signing in with Apple is optional; the app works without it. If you sign in, Settings has "Download my data" and "Delete account" options that do what they say. See the privacy policy for exactly what each one does.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
